Daisy Hicks is an English-born and Australian-raised singer/songwriter who has spent most of her life living between the UK and Sydney.
Coming from a great musical background, Daisy's father is well-known jazz drummer Tony Hicks (Backdoor) and she is also related to international recording star Chris Rea. Some of her first memories are being backstage at one of Chris shows with her father playing the drums!
Hang Of This Life, the new album from British singer/songwriter Daisy Hicks, is a driving, emotionally raw, rock/pop-inspired journey with full live instrumentation, impressive vocals and a sound that grabs listeners from the opening line.
Daisy shares co-writes on her new album with Jeff Franzel (current international #1 La Tua Semplicita with Josh Groban/Placido Domingo, N Sync, Shawn Colvin, Taylor Dayne, Clay Aiken), Stefan Orn (Apollo Drive) and Andres Lundstrom/Mavrick (member of international phenomenon Rednex) in Stockholm.
The new album Hang Of This Life was produced by Stefan Orn and Johan Glossnr - co-producers with Anders Bagge(J Lo, Celine Dion, Madonna, Enrique Iglesias, Janet Jackson, Take That), mixed by Grammy winner Niklas Flyckt (Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Kylie Minouge, Christina Millian, Nick Lachey, Westlife) and recorded at Andres Bagge's newly opened studio of outside of Stockholm.
With Daisy's vast cross-demographic appeal, proven radio success on previous albums, growing international exposure coupled with the brilliant new album Hang Of This Life create an impressive package that demands major label attention.
